Hello and welcome to my website. I am a professional flutist residing in
Santa Cruz, California, where I work as a performer and flute teacher.
I perform and teach on modern, baroque and 'folk' flute (old-system 19th
century flute that I use for Irish and Swedish music).
My teaching area currently spans from Salinas to Santa Cruz to San Jose to San Mateo. If you are in the area and are interested in lessons, I do currently have room in my studio. I offer a free, informal interview/lesson with new prospective students so we get a chance to meet each other and get a feel for how it will be to work together.
I have downloadable music on this site -- see the "LIVE" and "downloads" sections in the menu above. I have also posted my performance schedule, and please do come up and say "hello" if you happen to attend any concerts I play in.
